About SendBilling
SendBilling is invoicing software for freelancers and small teams that want to create estimates and invoices, schedule recurring work, send reminders, and keep payment records together.
What the product does
Users can create customers, products, estimates, invoices, recurring invoices, retainers, transactions, reports, PDFs, and public document links. Business settings keep branding, tax, currency, and email preferences together.
What the product does not do
SendBilling does not collect or process a customer's invoice payment. A sender can add an external payment URL to an invoice, but the transaction happens outside SendBilling and payment status is updated manually. SendBilling is also not presented as full accounting, payroll, banking, or tax-filing software.
Early-access status
The product is currently in early access, with features available on the free plan while paid checkout is unavailable. Planned prices are displayed for transparency, but they are not current purchase options.
How trust is documented
Product pages should rely on visible workflows, screenshots, clear pricing, and stated limitations. Customer counts, reviews, certifications, response times, or performance results should only appear when they can be verified.
Who SendBilling is for
The product is designed for freelancers, consultants, agencies, trades, and small service teams that need a practical record of estimates, invoices, recurring work, and follow-up. It is most suitable when the business already has a bank account or third-party payment provider and does not need general-ledger accounting inside the invoicing tool.
A business that needs payroll, inventory accounting, statutory tax filing, bank reconciliation, or consolidated financial statements should use appropriate accounting software and professional advice alongside—or instead of—SendBilling.
The workflow we are building
- Create a customer and save the billing details that belong on their documents.
- Prepare an estimate or invoice with itemized work, dates, currency, tax, and agreed terms.
- Send immediately, schedule delivery, or generate recurring documents on a defined cadence.
- Monitor delivery, views, due dates, and reminders from one record.
- Verify payment outside SendBilling, then update the invoice status and retain the record.
How product decisions are communicated
Early-access features, limits, and planned prices can change before paid checkout launches. The pricing page is the source for current SendBilling availability. Material limitations—especially external payment handling and manual payment-status updates—should appear near the feature they affect rather than being hidden in legal pages.
For help with a feature or to report inaccurate public information, use the support page. Security and privacy questions are documented separately so readers can evaluate the product without relying on broad claims.
